May 30 - Plein Aire Painting Riverfork Ranch
9am to noon
"Have a Brush With Nature" Plein Aire Aire Painting at River Fork Ranch
“Plein-aire artists have been practicing mindfulness since long before it became a buzzword, closely observing and respond to their natural surroundings. Changing light and conditions make painting outdoors a challenge, but you don’t need to be Renoir to enjoy it; the process is as much about capturing the essence of a scene as creating gallery-worthy artwork. Many of the landscapes protected by The Nature Conservancy have inspired artists and make perfect spot to set up an easel.” - The Nature Conservancy Magazine – Summer 2019.
Watercolors provided, but feel free to bring your own easel and paints as well.
Guided instruction available, Suggested additional supplies: camp chair, water for drinking, snacks, sunscreen and polarized sun glasses.
Saturday, May 30 from 9am-12pm register here - proceeds go back to the Conservancy
